I have just finished designing the logo for the Edinburgh Modern Quilt Guild. It blends the colours from their parent body – the Modern Quilt Guild which was formed in Los Angeles in October of 2009, with an iconic view of Edinburgh Castle taken from one of my photographs. I drew the outlines using Adobe Illustrator then added the colours with live paint. The typography is Orator Standard Medium with an added outline for a bit of extra weight.
