Paint

Jonathan Avery paint – a range of 18 colours chosen by Jonathan and manufactured by Craig and Rose in Dunfermline from 2006 – 2010.  The range developed gradually over the years – from the early days of little cupboards to the extended range of kitchens and bookcases.  My instinctive colour inspirations come from Shaker, Mennonite, and Amish houses/quilts as well early American folk-art. This resulted in a range of tones which eventually matured into this collection. Craig and Rose was an important choice – not only were they a historic local company – based in Dunfermline (formerly Leith in Edinburgh), but the quality of their paint is quite outstanding.
